The Media Center is open from 8:05 to 3:30 every day.
Students may visit the Media Center at any time with a pass from their teacher.
Classroom teachers can bring their classes in for checking out books, library lessons, technology lessons, Breakout EDU activities or conducting research projects.
WHMS students have MacBook Airs as part of our 1 to 1 initiative in Iredell-Statesville Schools.
We here at WHMS are working hard to bring 21st Century Skills and Learning to our students!
Battle of the Books
Interested in participating in Battle of the Books this year?
Here at BMS, Battle of the Books is a choice for students during their WIN time. BoB meets during WIN on WIN days. Battle of the Books is open to students 6th through 8th grade who love reading. Our team will participate in the district quiz competition against other middle schools for a chance to advance to the regional and state competition. The top 3 schools in our district receive a prize and trophy for the hard work of their school.
Our district competition is is generally held in the early Spring.
